This produces a lighter and stronger trunk than any wet-laid trunk available. We use carbon fabric from BGF Industries, INC. VIS Racing Carbon FRP trunks also use a high quality clear gel-coat which produces a high quality shine. The carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, thus, no two items are identical. Small imperfections such as wavy weaves, small bubbles, and clear coat blemishes are inevitable. No yellowing and peeling will occur due to a cheap clear coat.
